The  Krishna Somers Foundation  invites you to a programme with a difference, an end of year celebration of the greatest self-declared  bad poet in history, author of the celebrated Poetic Gems and, soon after, More Poetic Gems, both masterworks of this poetic genius of Dundee.

This Krishna Somers seminar will evaluate the contribution of the Dundee weaver to Scottish, European and World letters. Professor Mishra will present a theoretical framework  for a deconstructive   reading of McGonagall’s verse while Professor Main will  performatively enact the power of his  poetry.
